We are an established and growing recruitment business looking for an experienced Business Development Manager/Recruiter to spearhead our expansion into Essex. Initially based out of our Ashford, Kent office, you will be instrumental in developing a new client base, growing a high-performing team, and making a real impact in the industrial, commercial, engineering, healthcare, logistics, energy, automotive, construction, or hospitality sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
Business Development: Drive new business growth, building strong relationships with clients across our target sectors.
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition: Identify, attract, and place top talent in line with client needs.
Operational Leadership: Oversee the setup and management of the Essex office, ensuring smooth operations and excellent service delivery.
Sales & Client Engagement: Develop tailored solutions for clients, negotiating contracts and delivering outstanding recruitment services.
Market Analysis: Stay ahead of industry trends, identifying new opportunities for growth.
Team Building: Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team as the office expands.
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience in business development and recruitment, ideally within one or more of our target sectors.
Strong sales acumen with a track record of winning and growing client accounts.
Hands-on operational experience in a recruitment setting.
A proactive and resilient mindset – we want people who see challenges as opportunities.
Passion for delivering exceptional service and building long-term relationships.
Ability to work autonomously while being part of a wider collaborative team.
A genuine desire to progress and develop, both personally and professionally.
A full UK driving licence.
