Location: Rayleigh, Essex
Salary: £75,000 - £125,000 + Commission

Job Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced and Driven Legal Recruitment Manager to lead and oversee their legal recruitment department.

Our client has been long established and are now looking to grow a legal recruitment team.

Legal recruitment would be advantageous, however experience in growing recruitment teams and an ability to comfortably transition into the legal market would be considered.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing a legal recruitment team whilst building strong relationships with legal professionals and clients within the legal sector.

This role demands exceptional leadership, recruitment, and industry expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of legal recruitment professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring to ensure the team meets its recruitment targets.

  
  


• 
  

  Recruitment Strategy: Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top legal talent, including attorneys, paralegals, and legal support staff, to meet the staffing needs of our clients.

  
  


• 
  

  Client and Candidate Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with legal professionals and clients, understanding their needs and preferences to make successful placements.

  
  


• 
  

  Recruitment Process Management: Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, including candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, reference checking, and offer negotiations.

  
  


• 
  

  Market Research: Stay updated on legal industry trends, compensation benchmarks, and market dynamics to provide strategic guidance to the team.

  
  


• 
  

  Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations and maintain accurate records. Generate regular reports on department performance.

  
  


• 
  

  Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to uphold the highest standards in the recruitment process.

  
  


• 
  

  Business Development: Identify opportunities for business growth and expansion within the legal recruitment sector.

  
  

About the person

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:

• A successful track record in a Recruitment role leading on high profile, volume or complex Resourcing issues.


• Experience in developing good working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, both internally and externally across all levels of seniority.


• Experience of providing clear, balanced advice and guidance on a wide range of resourcing issues to management teams.


• An ability to take ownership of situations.
