Job Description: As the Branch Manager of a legal recruitment consultancy in Brighton, you will play a pivotal role in managing and expanding operations. You will be responsible for overseeing the recruitment team, developing business strategies, fostering client relationships, and ensuring the successful placement of legal professionals within law firms and corporate legal departments.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of recruitment consultants, providing guidance, training, and support to drive individual and team performance.
Develop and execute business strategies to achieve sales targets and expand market share in the legal recruitment industry.
Build and maintain strong relationships with law firms, corporate legal departments, and other potential clients, understanding their hiring needs and providing tailored recruitment solutions.
Source, screen, and interview legal professionals, assessing their skills, experience, and cultural fit with clients' requirements.
Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate shortlisting, interview coordination, offer negotiation, and onboarding.
Stay updated on market trends, industry developments, and changes in legislation affecting the legal sector to provide valuable insights and advice to clients and candidates.
Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws, data protection regulations, and industry standards.
Requirements:
Proven experience in professional sector recruitment, with a track record of successfully placing high profile roles at prestigious firms.
Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, candidates, and colleagues.
Sound knowledge of the legal industry, including an understanding of various legal roles, practice areas, and market trends.
Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving targets and driving business growth.
High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
Familiarity with recruitment software and online platforms.
