Job Description: Up to £35,000 + OTE 100k
Our client is a well-established, privately owned, UK-based recruitment company that enjoys successful working relationships with some of the UK's leading companies and SMEs.
Their specialised business units provide IT Technical, IT Sales, Project Management, Finance, Engineering, Marketing and HR staff across the UK and internationally.
They work in several industry verticals: IT/Outsourcing, NHS/Healthcare, Local Government, Education, Central Government, Telecoms, Utilities, Services, and Media.
Our client is seeking an experienced local recruiter with IT experience to join their team.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of sourcing and recruiting top talent for various roles, as well as a deep understanding of employment law and regulations.
As an IT recruiter, you will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and presenting qualified candidates for IT-related positions. You will work closely with hiring managers to understand their needs and find candidates who meet their requirements.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in the IT recruiting industry, with a strong understanding of current recruitment trends and technologies. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities include:
• Developing and executing recruiting plans and strategies
• Sourcing candidates through various channels, including social media, job boards, and referrals
• Conducting phone and in-person interviews to assess candidate qualifications
• Building relationships with candidates and hiring managers to ensure a positive experience
• Managing the entire recruitment process, from initial contact through offer acceptance
Requirements:
• 3+ years of experience in recruitment, preferably in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or a related field
• Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
